1. Why Faux Flowers?
‘Fresh’ looking all year round
. We love fresh flowers but faux flowers are at the perfect stage of development, so look their best all year round. A great example of this is our tulips in a glass vase which look spectacular year after year. Customers regularly walk around our Claygate store thinking that the flowers are fresh not faux.
Our exceptional flowers offer great value for money. If you were to calculate how much you pay for fresh flowers on a weekly basis, within around 3 months you would have return on the amount spent and still have a beautiful display that will last for years. Many of our customers rotate their arrangements seasonally so they always have something to brighten up their home year after year.

Especially in spring and summer months when there is already a naturally high pollen count, faux flowers can help by reducing the allergens in the home environment. They can help make a bride’s special day sneeze free and our ‘Get well soon’ range is perfect for hospitals that do not favour fresh flowers on the wards.

Faux flowers are simply not so fussy! They are suitable for dark or some varying climate areas where fresh flowers can often struggle to cope.
2. What makes RTfact different from other artificial flower companies
Our flowers are all meticulously handcrafted to ensure they are botanically correct and look as close to the real thing as possible.

We also offer a bespoke service. You can either shop from our specially selected range online or alternatively give us your brief by filling out the bespoke service form

3. Why don’t you sell any vases with flowers displayed in clear gel?
Although gel products can look good when they are initially purchased, over time deterioration in colour and appearance can occur. They can be very difficult to clean due to dust and the stems can not be easily re-used for different arrangements. We want every display to offer longevity and the superior quality of our flowers is of paramount importance to us.
4. Why do we think we are special and great value for money?
We travel the world sourcing only the best faux flowers that are available, to offer displays that are as realistic and botanically correct as they can possibly be. We do not ship readymade arrangements from China but have a team of expertly trained floral stylists who make sure that everything that leaves our store has been uniquely designed for you. Our artificial flowers last, as you can see in our customer testimonials, they can stay fresh looking for up to ten years. An investment for years to come.
5. How do you care for the flowers once they are in the home?
Simply use a hairdryer or hoover to rid them of dust. If this is done regularly they will always look fresh. Some leaves and petals are latex covered and these can be wiped with a damp cloth.
For those living near to Claygate we also offer a cleaning service in store.
6. Can you put flowers and trees outside?
All items in our outdoor living range are suitable for display outside.
7. Will they fade over time?
Vibrant coloured flowers will fade quicker than more subtle colours, it is therefore best to display these away from strong sunlight.
8. Are the containers suitable for the outside?
If it is an outdoor plant then it will be in a container suitable for coping with varying weather.
9. How much is delivery?
All mainland UK deliveries are £4.95. We use a variety of delivery methods and customers should be aware that a signature may be required. There may be an additional charge for deliveries to Ireland and The Channel Islands in which case customers will be contacted in advance of dispatch.
10. How long does it take for my order to arrive?
We usually dispatch orders within 24-48 hours but guarantee within 5 working days. If you require an urgent delivery ie. within 24 hours, then please contact the Claygate store. For full delivery details see our terms and conditions
11. How do I know that you have received my order?
We will e-mail you with an order confirmation and you will have an order reference number should you need to contact us regarding your order details.
12. What is your returns policy?
We want you to love your RTfact flowers and if that is not the case you can return the order, in it’s original packaging, within 14 days for a full refund. See full terms and conditions
13. How are the flowers packaged?
Basic packaging is used unless you opt for our giftwrap service which includes a beautiful black gift bag, tissue and a personalized card. Simply
enter your gift card message when you place your items in the cart, and you have assurance that invoice details will not be sent to the gift recipient. Larger arrangements and decorative items will have bespoke gift wrapping depending on the item.
14. If I can’t find what I am looking for on the website would you be able to source it for me?
Dawn is always on the lookout for new, exciting flowers and artifacts and is more than happy to include special requests. RTfact also have access to a vast range of flowers and vases, too many to appear on the website, so if you would prefer a different colour or vase shape then feel free to contact us
15. If we already have a vase can you create an arrangement to go within it?
This is a service we offer in our store.
16. How do faux flowers impact the environment?
It is widely believed that faux flowers are a better alternative to fresh flowers in terms of carbon footprint. It makes sense if you consider that fresh flowers are shipped and last for just one week whereas as some faux flowers can last for six years plus.
17. What if I have a special occasion to be catered for?
